The Liberty Village Running Room 10K clinic is off to a great start. A small but mighty group of runners have registered for the 10 week clinic and despite the inclement weather, several new faces are showing up to our Wednesday and Sunday morning run. I’m so happy to see people stretching outside their comfort zone, especially people who have never run in the winter before. The best part? Everyone has a great run.
Before we set out, new winter runners seem to have this vision of 40 below arctic winds whipping their face and black ice covered sidewalks lurking at every corner, only to find out that really, if you’re prepared, winter running can be a lot of fun!
