It’s Canada people, jog harder!

santa runContinuing the theme of “Defeating Winter,” I joined the Nike Central Run Club for one final run before the holidays last night. In addition to sporting ultra reflective things like armbands, headlamps and glow sticks, some of us also dressed in our finest festive attire for the occasion. Despite the fact that Christmas-themed running attire seems to be in short supply, I managed to put together something holiday-esque. Part standard dry-fit running gear, part tacky Christmas sweater, my outfit was completed by elf-like socks and a Santa hat.

I wanted to give a big shout out to the Nike Run Clubs. You’re all super awesome. Every week, I look forward to running with you guys.  You push me try harder and you make me a better runner. I am looking forward to continuing running with you in 2013.

This blog post’s title brought to you by a random (possibly homeless) man heckling us as we ran by last night.

They’re one of a kind. Truly. And possibly vintage. They used to be my mom’s. I honestly think they might be from the 70s!
