After I found this awesome running shirt on the Runner’s World Facebook page, I decided I’d write a post about Christmas themed running gear. However, after a lengthy search, I actually couldn’t find anything aside from this shirt. There are some really ugly Christmas ornaments out there, and a bunch of people running races dressed like Santa, but apparently there is no demand for holiday-themed running attire. Seriously, search for yourself. I dare you to find anything like this shirt.
I love this shirt so much, but is it worthy of a blog post on its own? Yes, I decided. It is. It is just that awesome.
So here it is: seemingly the only Christmas themed piece of running attire on the internet. A women’s long sleeve tech shirt in a holiday sweater print from Ink n’ Burn.com. Based out of Costa Mesa, California, this company started by designing running gear for endurance athletes and eventually branched out to other sorts of apparel like sports bras, shirts and tanks. I actually really like their philosophy. On their About page, they say the motivation behind their designs is to stand out from the crowd. “Ever notice in that huge pack at the start of a race you’ll see maybe 10 different shirts? We decided to change that,” they say. Pretty cool stuff.
Anyway, this shirt is all kinds of awesome. I love running gear. I love ugly Christmas sweaters. This is basically my two favourite things rolled into one. I immediately put this on my Christmas wishlist. Fingers crossed it’s under the tree Christmas morning. If not, I’m ordering it myself. This would be the perfect shirt for Around the Bay in March.
Thoughts? You know you want one.
I leave you with this:
Note: I am not affiliated with Ink n’ Burn in any way. I just think this shirt is pretty rad.
